Overview The APC by Schneider Electric NetShelter™ Switched Rack Power Distribution Unit distributes power to devices in the rack. It has a sensor that measures the current that it and its attached devices use. It can be monitored through Web, SNMP, SSH, or EcoStruxure® interfaces.

Outlets: The Rack PDU has twenty-one (21) C13 locking outlets and three (3) C19 locking outlets. A green LED for each outlet turns on when the outlet is energized. (The outlet locking feature is compatible with APC by Schneider Electric locking input cords and APC by Schneider Electric locking jumper cords.)

Display interface: The input buttons and liquid crystal display (LCD) allow you to monitor current, power, and voltage measurements of the Rack PDU. Local communication can be established through the Console port, and remote communication through the Network port. The USB port enables data transfer. The environmental sensor port (Universal I/O) allows for monitoring of the temperature and humidity of the rack. Network Port Sharing allows you to manage up to thirtytwo (32) NetShelter 9000 Series Rack PDUs by connecting them using the Link A and Link B ports on the display panel.

Power cord: The separate 3 m (10 ft) power cord with 16A, 3–pin, C-19 plug connects to the IEC-320–C20 inlet on the PDU and terminates at the other end with a 16A, 3–pin IEC-309 connector.

Mounting: Toolless mounting — The Rack PDU has two toolless mounting pegs for 0 U mounting capability in a rack.

Bracket Kits — A universal mounting bracket kit is provided as an alternative mounting method to the toolless mount for 3rd party racks. An optional bracket kit is available to provide mounting capability for specific 3rd party racks.
